Game: HiLo

Objective: The objective of HiLo is to correctly predict whether the next number will be higher or lower than the current number. Players compete against each other, and there is no house involved in the game.

Payouts:

  1. Every bid from each user goes into the current game pot.
  2. From each pot, 3% will be deducted for various purposes: a. 1% goes directly into the platform-wide bonus pot. b. 1% is reserved for referral partners’ payout. c. 1% goes to the platform to cover game-associated costs such as Chainlink, Alchemy, Infura, Servers, and smart contract-related execution costs. Please note that due to the decentralized nature of the platform and the possibility of congested networks, fees may vary.

Gameplay:

  1. The game requires a minimum of 3 players to start.
  2. At the start of each round, the pot is funded with the bids from the participating players.
  3. A current number is randomly generated.
  4. Each player must decide whether the next number will be higher or lower than the current number.
  5. Players submit their predictions within a specified time limit.
  6. If a player fails to submit their prediction within the designated time limit, they will be considered inactive for that round.
  7. An inactive player will not be included in the next round’s gameplay and will need to actively join the game again to participate.
  8. Once the time limit is reached, the next number is generated.
  9. If a player’s prediction is correct, they are considered a winning player for that round.
  10. If a player’s prediction is incorrect, they are considered a losing player for that round.
  11. The pot is divided among the winning players after deducting the platform fees.
  12. The payout for each winning player is calculated by dividing the remaining pot equally among them.
  13. The winning players receive their respective payouts.
  14. Inactive players are not eligible for the platform-wide bonus payout during their period of inactivity.
  15. The platform-wide bonus payout is distributed among active and participating players only.

Example:

Let’s assume 10 players are playing in the 2 MATIC room, and each round has 20 MATIC in the pot.

Scenario 1:

  • 2 players win, and 8 players lose.
  • The pot contains 20 MATIC.
  • 3% of the pot is deducted: 20 MATIC * 3% = 0.6 MATIC.
  • The remaining pot is 20 MATIC – 0.6 MATIC = 19.4 MATIC.
  • The winning players share the remaining pot equally: 19.4 MATIC / 2 = 9.7 MATIC each.

Scenario 2:

  • 0 players win, and 10 players lose.
  • The pot contains 20 MATIC.
  • 3% of the pot is deducted: 20 MATIC * 3% = 0.6 MATIC.
  • The remaining pot is 20 MATIC – 0.6 MATIC = 19.4 MATIC.
  • Since there are no winning players, each player receives an equal share of the remaining pot: 19.4 MATIC / 10 = 1.94 MATIC each.

Scenario 3:

  • 10 players win, and 0 players lose.
  • The pot contains 20 MATIC.
  • 3% of the pot is deducted: 20 MATIC * 3% = 0.6 MATIC.
  • The remaining pot is 20 MATIC – 0.6 MATIC = 19.4 MATIC.
  • The winning players share the remaining pot equally: 19.4 MATIC / 10 = 1.94 MATIC each.

Note: The examples provided above demonstrate the payout calculations for different scenarios. The actual pot size and player counts may vary based on the number of participants and their bids. It is important for players to actively engage in the game by submitting their predictions within the given time frame to ensure their participation and eligibility for bonuses and subsequent rounds.
